As your registered dietitian
I will coach you through the science associated with providing the best foods that will serve your body, while keeping your meals fun and enjoyable.
My job is to provide counseling and coaching in order to help you improve your eating habits and provide you with individualized and realistic recommendations that can be achieved with my careful guidance and helpful resources. As a registered dietitian, I will provide you with the most current and science backed advice while also considering personal preferences.
My passion for food and its relationship to well-being started at a young age. I grew up in Queens, NY with a family in the Italian restaurant business. As a family, we used food to celebrate special occasions, cope with stress, and all that’s in between.
While attending college at NYU, I knew I wanted to educate myself further on nutrition to better understand how to balance my joy for food with my interest in science and how the body works.
I am a native New Yorker, a foodie and a marathon runner. I have run three full marathons and more than a dozen half marathons.
My interest in how food can complement athletic performance has allowed me to provide counseling to other athletes on sports nutrition and fueling for both strength and endurance-based sports.
